I highly recommend Alyssa when searching for someone who will be compassionate, a listening ear and enlightening in terms of food energetics and your animal. Alyssa has been nothing short of amazing. She is always available to answer my questions and guide me through how to help our Cooper. He’s suffered with skin issues- itchy, dry, red skin deeply for the last 2 years. I feel we have tried it all… vet recommended meds, body wash etc. nothing has helped. I felt the issue was deeper and was referred to Alyssa by another friend, Sonja. While coopers skin remains the same to our eyes, I feel his energy and mood has improved. We will continue to work with Alyssa to figure out how we can come out on the other side of this, hopefully one day. Thank you, Alyssa!

Boss was an " Apoquel Detox Client"
Huge thanks to The Toki Project and a tailored approach, his care plan includes: Raw food diet
CBD and MYCODOG
Green tea skin soaks
Pureed organic veggies
fish for Omega 3 support
Natural enzymes and probiotics
Almost 2 1/2 months transitioning from kibble and the results are incredible. Turns out he is highly allergic to processed food and carbs. This journey has worked wonders for him and we are only getting started. If you are interested in a protocol for your furbaby, reach out to The Toki Project. - Jenny (Boss's Mom)
LUNA - OHIO
My two-year-old boxer has suffered from skin conditions, chronic ear infections, and UTIs since she was 6 months old. She was living at the vet's office constantly. Everything from antibiotics, to cytopoint and apoquel was tried, along with all the “prescription dog foods” which never fixed the root issue. I came to learn, these were all band aids. All these conditions just kept returning. Along the way, I started doing some research on food, coming to find out, I wasn’t feeding a species appropriate diet. We started working with a holistic health professional and canine nutritionist. We started Luna on a fresh food diet and her body started detoxing immediately. All of the things I thought I was doing right in trusting my vet, truly just harmed her internally. As the weeks went along with the fresh food diet, Luna started losing her fur, becoming severely itchy and red. Lisa advised me we have more going on internally and recommended me to Alyssa. I let Alyssa know everything that was going on with Luna and by our first phone call, she really knew what was going on internally and why it was causing the external issues. She was very informative on the what’s and why these things were going on with Luna. She continues to educate me about food therapy, and energetics and what it all does to the body itself. She put a plan together and we are currently on week 3. I can truly say I believe in the process of food therapy. We have noticed changes in her skin, temperament, and why her body is doing what it’s doing weekly. Her clammy, damp skin flares have been diminishing. If at anytime I felt like something wasn’t going in the right direction, such as a skin flare in week 2, I contacted Alyssa, and she assured me at that moment, it’s a part of the process and her body is doing this because of A&B. All these noticeable changes are all apart of the food therapy process and plays a huge part in energetics. It definitely takes time, dedication and patience. Alyssa is always there and lets you know all of this along the way. She has put us on the right path and helps to find the root cause of the issues at hand. The very first thing I learned from Alyssa, which is highly important, is that Lunas body was telling me all along. We will continue to work with the Toki Project until Luna is thriving! I will continue to learn along the way from Alyssa and I highly recommend the Toki project! We are healing!

Star - SANFORD, MAINE
She's a handful, but we love our Star. Shortly after adopting her, we found out that she was testing positive for Giardia, and she was Heartworm positive. Looking back on it, I would have chosen a different approach in treating it, but at the time, I didn't know any different, than to do what the vet told me to. The treatments were extremely painful for her, and it broke my heart watching her, after she received them. Since then, we have dealt with some aggression, and her gut has been a mess from the very beginning. Can't really pinpoint if it was caused from the diagnosis/treatment, but it's all we have to go on. Years after being treated, she was still having stomach problems, and having extreme diarrhea with blood in it, to the extreme of not being able to go at all. We kept her on a low protein kibble diet, that my vet recommended, because every time we increased her protein, she would get more aggressive. The food was expensive, but our dog was still sick. We tried medication, and paid high prices for training, but nothing seemed to work. Alyssa recommended feeding her real food and trying to heal her gut and her liver. She sent me lots of different articles, with explanations of why dogs struggle with temperament and health related issues, because of the nutrients lacking in their diets. She also sent suggestions of recipes, to target the specific issues we were having. A couple of months into making my own dog food, and incorporating her suggestions, Star seems to be feeling much better and has normal poops every day. It had not been normal, from the time that we adopted her, back in 2018. She also had a lot of anal gland issues, that seem to have resolved. Still working on some aggression issues, but I think she developed some behaviors, from feeling so badly, that might be a little harder to break. We are just thankful for Alyssa's suggestions, and thankful that Star's overall health seems to be much better. Moving forward, we will keep making our own dog food, and incorporating foods that help heal her body, and give her the proper nutrition that her body was so badly needing. Thanks, Alyssa!!!

SaraJane - Shiner TX
She has had skin issues since the day she was found a stray. Her itchy skin made her a temperamental dog. Since working with Alyssa and The Toki Project I have switched her to a limited ingredient diet adding the key nutrients she needs as well as some topical solutions. Since making these key changes SaraJane's itchiness has decreased significantly leading to a much improved attitude and she has an overall calmer and more relaxed demeanor. Alyssa is a resource I will absolutely turn to in the future as my journey with SaraJane contines. -Megan
